• Air tanks meet SAE J10 and FMVSS DOT 121 for use in Heavy Duty Air Brake Systems.
• Every tank is pressure tested for leak resistance, structural integrity and safety.
• Ports are resistance- welded for strength and leak protection.
• Maximum working pressure: 150 psi.
• Continuous weld seams ensure a sound and secure tank body.
• Holes in the mounting brackets are drilled at 7/16” diameter.
• A unique, automated painting process applies a corrosion-resistant paint to both the inside and outside
surfaces of the steel tanks, providing long-lasting rust protection.
• Aluminum tanks are less affected by air system corrosives and lighter than the standard steel tank.
• Approximately 45 % less weight.
